Please use this thread to introduce yourself. As the saying goes "It's a small world" and you already have several things in common with each other! You might like to include what your area of research is, which regional SCITT you are joining or what subject you are teaching.

Hi everyone!

We've got next Thursday 27th July pencilled into our diaries for an informal social catch-up in London. We very much understand that this is a busy time for many of you and there'll be lots of opportunities to socialise during Summer Training - so we're happy to go ahead on 27th, or not. Please let us know your thoughts...

We've all know a great teacher, either from our time at school or more recently, who we aspire to be like. Who's yours? What about their teaching will your aim to emulate when you are in the classroom?

Have you come across any exciting activities or demonstrations you can't wait to incorporate into your lessons in September? Your first term is going to be a busy time, so you might like to spend a bit of time over the summer finding a few engaging and fun activities to plan into your lessons. Share them here with your peers!
